Mission Partnerships form when the sessions of two or more churches in the Presbytery share the conviction to address a particular mission enterprise. Mission Partnerships are established and reviewed by the Mission and Ministry Work Group upon request. Mission Partnerships are for a specified period of time and have a clearly stated goal.
Carpenter's Helpers
The objective of Carpenter's Helpers is to build one house each year for Habitat for Humanity. Membes from each of the participating churches have been involved in the building of the houses, as well as an organized clergy day when clergy from this Presbytery have a chance to work on a house.

Central Visitation
Central Visitation Program offers an opportunity for approximately 100 families to have visits bewteen children and parents who are required to have supervised visitation time. Volunteers are trained to be available for these supervised visits. A recent grant will allow them to now offer parenting classes.

Community Treks
Community Treks Mission Partnership gathers together medical, educational, student, and faith communities to address the AIDS pandemic in Africa, focusing on Malawi. A Denver-based team collaborates to address the educational, medical and faith-based needs in Malawi by traveling to Malawi and then sharing what they have learned with corresponding Denver-based communities.

Covenant Cupboard
The churches involved in Covenant Cupboard donate a significant number of volunteer hours each week to pick up donated and purchased food, prepare boxes, arrange food for selection, register and process clients and clean up at the conculstion of the distribution process at the food pantries at Church of the Covenant, Bennett and North.

Ghana
Ghana Mission Partnership provides shelter, affordable housing, meals and assistance to families experiencing homelessness. The churches involved in this mission partnership offer emergency housing and hospiitality in their buildings as well as meals and personal care items. In 2008, this mission partnership will receive $4,000 from the Presbytery mission budget.

Growing Home
The misison of Growing Home is to provide shelter, affordable housing, meals and assistance to families experiencing homelessness. The churches involved in this mission partnership provide emergency housing, meals and personal care items to families, as well as serving as hosts to the families who use these services.

Katrina
The members of Katrina Mission Partnership feel called to minister to those who were affected by the hurricans of 2005 by working with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance in rebuilding the homes of individuals after Katrina.

Lomagundi Clinic Mission Partnership
A new mission partnership has been formed to share with the Presbytery of Zimbabwe in providing healthcare for the community. This mission partnership helps to support the Lomagundi clinic in Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe and assists in providing financial support, supplies, medicine, and training.

Network Ministries
Network Ministries reaches out to the homeless with a place to go for coffee, conversation, a warm coat, toiletries, or a Thanksgiving meal. Members of the participating churches not only collect these needed supplies, but they also spend time at the coffeehouse, caring for those who visit it.

Presbyterians for 2nd Wind Mission Partnership is created to decrease the incidence of teen suicide by removing financial and social barriers to treatment for at-risk youth.

Self Improvement Opportunities
Self Improvement Opportunities Mission Partnership offers adults in Aurora and Denver the opportunity to study for their GED, received basic computer skills, fill out job applications, type resumes and receive tutoring. Members of participating churches do fundraisers, provide computers and other supplies as well as volunteer hours for this agency.

Zimbabwe Mission Partnership
The goal of the Zimbabwe Mission Partnership is to continue to focus on feeding, providing school fees, tuition, uniforms, nutrition supplements and medical care for the orphans enrolled at the Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care Center (HCOC) near Murewa, Zimbabwe. We will also continue to collect and ship supplies to Zimbabwe. In addition, ZMP raises funds to support local farming for food production and for essential new construction projects. Operating funds for support of school teaching and administrative staffs, HCOC staff and building and grounds maintenance and repair are included in ZMP's budget program.
